Your Local Dealer: Taking Orders For Christmas Now!

Our reindeers, Rhubarb and Raspberry, love their annual treat of chocolatey snowballs!

Yup, the season of silly merry-making and generous gift-giving is nearly upon us again! If you know someone who would love to wake up on Christmas morning to find some delectable handcrafted chocolate truffles in their stocking, under their tree or in their fridge, we are your people!

Your Local Dealer will be taking Christmas orders from now until Sunday 18 December 2011. It's little early, we know, but we've recently gone back to our day job and we do like to plan ahead. Things like possibly asking for a day or two off if the orders get massive (we say "we" but you know "we" are essentially a one-person chocolate-balling operation), ordering packaging and shopping for all the good stuff that goes into each chocolate truffle.

So, here's the deal...

1. To ensure maximum crunchy freshness, all chocolate truffles will be made on the 21st (Wednesday) and 22nd (Thursday) of December and ready for pick-up on the 23rd (Friday) or 24th (Saturday). If you need the goods before these dates, please let us know.

2. All flavours that you see in the sidebar on the right will be available for order. They will come in the usual dozen per box. $20 for each box (see payment details here).

3. To order, simply email yourdealerpal@gmail.com with:

- Flavour(s) and number of boxes that you would like

- Date of pick-up

The Goods

The first thing that we want to get you hooked on is our one-bite-is-never-enough chocolate truffles.

We've been making these chocolate balls for years. We serve them at the little parties that we occasionally throw and we take them, along with a couple of bottles of booze, as you do, to soirées that we get invited to. We give them away on occasions that require gift-showering. And on days that we simply feel like being nice and making someone feel special and loved. It was never our intention to make addicts out of our pals and family but very soon after their first ever bite, we hear that they were craving for more of them chocolate truffles. Big time! Requests constantly flooded in and we became their dealer for their (free) chocolatey fixes.

Recently, we thought it's high time we made some cold hard cash, to feed our other addictions (shopping and eating equally-fine food made by others), from what has proven to be an excellent product, if we do say so ourselves. So here we are...Your Local Dealer! Fuelling your choc habit since June 2011.

So I assumed the reference to these truffles being addictive was just marketing guff, but it's true. Did you, like, lace them with nicotine or something? Of the six boxes that arrived at my place (thanks again for my bonus box!), I had intended to give five away as gifts. Only ONE box managed to escape our clutches... we devoured the other five in about 3 days. You is evil.
